| November 2025 | Mainframe Data Maintenance Begins | FAM maintenance continues in order to preserve necessary data from previous aid years. |
Timeline: Student Financial Planning Implementation

| November 2024 | Release 1 | SFP system begins to import and process Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR) data from federal government systems for financial aid year 2025-26. California-ISIRs are loaded into SFP. Budgeting and packaging for new students in the Schools of Medicine and Dentistry occurs in SFP. |
| December 2024 | Release 2 | SFP financial aid verification processing. |
| March 2025 | Release 3 | Financial aid budgets and packages for all new students to be processed using SFP, other than students enrolled in the Schools of Medicine and Dentistry. |
| April 2025 | Release 4 | Financial aid budgets and packages for all students will be processed using SFP. Anticipated Aid for Summer 2025, Disbursement for Summer 2025, and Returned Title IV Funds (R2TIV) and Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) are processed in SFP. |
| July 2025 | Release 5 | Anticipated aid for Fall 2025 is processed using SFP. |
